Jason pursued dual degrees in Facility Maintenance Engineering and HVAC and Refrigeration from renowned Washington State colleges. He initially worked as a maintenance engineer at Steak & Shake but yearned for more challenges and opportunities. Joining Caspers Service Company (CSC) proved to be a pivotal decision influenced by a conversation with Dan Curry, his successor at Steak & Shake.
Since joining CSC, Jason's love for the industry drove him to earn a Facilities Management certificate from the University of Washington. He excels in the food service realm and surpassed his goals, including industry event participation, finding a mentor, and becoming a Planned Maintenance Manager at CSC. Jason's achievements inspire others to strive for excellence.
Jason's long-term goal is to wrap up his remarkable career in the trades right where it all began—at a technical college. He aspires to share his passion and inspire future students by demonstrating the true value of the trade industry. Jason wants to emphasize to his students that they have chosen the right path and show them, through his own example, that the trades can offer them a stable livelihood, support their families, and help them achieve their life goals. He aims to be a down-to-earth mentor, guiding and motivating students to embrace the immense opportunities within the trades.
